An Award Responsible Alcohol Retailing
Anyone who is caught selling alcohol to a person who is under 18, or drunk or disorderly is liable to be personally prosecuted. Not only can members of staff be prosecuted but any Personal Licence Holder or even the Premises Licence Holder can be prosecuted at the same time, unless they can show evidence of due diligence. This course is designed for anyone, including bar staff and supermarket cashiers, who work on any licensed retail premises from pubs to convenience stores and is involved in the sale of alcohol and will ensure they are fully aware of their legal responsibilities. At the same time it can be used as evidence of due diligence for owners and operators of licensed retail premises.
