Door Supervisors & Security Training Course

What is the aim of the Door Supervisor SIA Training course?

To work as a Door Supervisor or Security Guard in the UK you will need to have a licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
One of the requirements of the licence is that you hold a recognised qualification, and the Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors meets this requirement.
The Door Supervisor course is run over four days and has a minimum of 30 hours tuition with 3 exams and a practical assessment.
Exam 1 -  40 minutes, 25 questions, pass mark 20
Exam 2 -  60 minutes, 40 questions, pass mark 28
Exam 3 -  45 minutes, 30 questions, pass mark 17
Practical Assessment in Physical Intervention

Who is the Door Supervisor Course for?

New entrants to the security industry and those who are returning to it having previously worked prior to the introduction of SIA licensing in 2004.
Exemptions may apply if appropriate qualifications from a recognised Awarding Body were obtained less than three years ago. Please call us for full details.
What are the benefits?
The Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors will enable you to apply to the SIA for a Door Supervisor licence, and by obtaining this licence you will increase your employment opportunities.
Although the course syllabus will provide you with the basic knowledge needed to pass the exams, our instructors will also demonstrate to you the real life practicalities of being a Door Supervisor or Security Guard, so that when you eventually start work you will feel much more confident in your new role.

The qualification consists of four units:
