A Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 states that anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence. If you wish to obtain a personal licence you need to apply to your local licensing board. You will be asked for a number of things to support your application; these include proof that you hold a licensing qualification such as the SCPLH.

Door Supervisors & Security Training Course

To work as a Door Supervisor or Security Guard in the UK you will need to have a licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
One of the requirements of the licence is that you hold a recognised qualification, and the Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors meets this requirement.
The course is run over four days and has 28 hours of tuition and 2 hours of exams. The exams consist of two 40-question multiple choice papers with pass marks of 28 for Unit 1, and 24 for Unit 2.

Level 2 Award in Food Safety

The law requires that anyone responsible for the serving of food and drink to the public to be adequately trained. Owners and operators must themselves be trained but also be able to prove their staff are trained if they are to avoid prosecution.
This one-day course is designed to meet the syllabus of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Officers, recognised by all local authorities.
