This Disability Awareness training aims to help learners understand more about recruiting and retaining people with disabilities. All workplaces should have an equal opportunities policy that means people with disabilities are given the same chances as anyone else. This course will introduce you to legislation surrounding disability and how it relates to employment. It will introduce you to the different types of disabilities you may encounter, how disabilities can impact on people’s work, how to create a more inclusive workplace and how to ensure your recruitment processes are accessible to all.

This Disability Awareness course is accredited and endorsed by leading awarding bodies within the hospitality industry, including the Institute of Hospitality and the BIIAB

Course Duration: 40 minutes*
* Based on average time taken by candidates.
Assessment: Upon completion of the course, learners will complete an end of learning assessment consisting of 10 questions. 70% of the questions will need to be answered correctly to receive a certificate.
