Online Scottish Personal Licence Course & Exam

This course is for anyone in Scotland who wishes to sell alcohol (for drinking on or off the premises) to the public.

The aim of the course is to introduce you to:

• Licensing Boards and Licensing Standards Officers
• Personal licences, premises and occasional licences
• The Licensing Objectives and the licensing regulations
• The operating schedule and risk assessments
• Recognise the social responsibility of illegal drugs, alcohol, and disorderly conduct awareness
• The responsible retail sale of alcohol
• The personal licence holder and the penalties for non compliance
• Unauthorised licensable activities
• Rights of entry to licensed premises
• Alcohol and the effects of alcohol on the human body.

Ideal for anyone who wishes to obtain a personal licence for the sale of alcohol in England or Wales. The home-learning course is available to use on multiple platforms such as tablets, PCs and laptops. All you need is an internet connection.  Once the course is completed, you will then complete your exam via a web portal which will be recorded via a web camera. Learners will be provided with all necessary information about how to complete the e-assessment. Once you have successfully passed the exam you will receive your level 2 qualification which can be used to apply for your personal licence.

Assessment

To complete the e-assessment delegates will be required to log into the digital invigilation platform using their credentials. The learner will be required to comply with exam conditions using their smartphone and webcam. Setup takes just 5 minutes and support is available in getting set up.
